After years of watching patients step off her treatment table into unsupportive footwear, chiropractor Nina Showan-Wakefield was inspired to create Snaffles. Drawing from her professional expertise and lifelong connection to horses, she designed sandals that offer unprecedented harmony between support and sophistication.
The name "Snaffles" references the bridle bit known for its balanced connection between horse and rider—a fitting metaphor for footwear that responds precisely to your body's needs.

Each pair of Snaffles is meticulously made by a family-owned workshop with four generations of shoemaking expertise. Using premium materials that meet the highest environmental and ethical standards, our artisans create sandals that are as thoughtfully constructed as they are elegantly designed.
